Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions Answered
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
It depends. Dr. C.J. will perform a thorough exam at your consult visit to diagnose and treatment plan your orthodontic needs. He will give you an estimated time for treatment, but sometimes tooth movement is unpredictable, so these are only estimates. You might even get lucky and finish early!
Can I get my braces put on at my consultation visit?
We would love to work you into our schedule to get your braces put on at your first consultation visit. However, this option may not be available to every patient depending on their treatment plan.
How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
There’s no one-size-fits-all for the cost of orthodontic treatment. Fees will be assessed on difficulty and length of treatment. Oftentimes, phase 1 and limited treatment is less costly than comprehensive or complex cases. Schedule a consult today to let us determine the extent of your orthodontic needs!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer different options for in-house payment plans depending on depth and length of treatment. We offer interest-free financing and will work with you to find the best payment plan for you and your family.
Does my insurance cover braces?
It depends. Some insurances cover braces up to a certain dollar amount while others will cover a certain percent. Some insurances will only cover braces up to a certain age. We will communicate with your insurance company to figure out what your plan covers and work with you to find a payment option to cover the difference.
Can I pay with my FSA or HSA?
Absolutely! Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Spending Accounts (HSA) are special accounts that allow you to pay for health expenses with tax-free money. FSA money has to be used up by the end of each year, or else you lose that money. HSA funds will rollover each year. We accept both FSA and HSA accounts, so be sure to tell us if you’d like to use one!
